Piney Point Custom Home

In 2019, Crafted was contracted to completely remodel this home in Piney Point Village, Houston. Crafted was tasked to update this home while maintaining its traditional charm.

The Challenge

This home was originally built in the late 1960s and desperately needed an update.

The homeowners wanted to completely transform both interior and exterior, expand their 2nd floor, and redesign their garage and their backyard.

The Existing Home

Crafted’s Approach

Before we began construction, Crafted investigated the existing property for any potential framing to be replaced in addition to updating existing surveys. From this, it was determined that parts of it needed to be replaced to ensure long-term safety. Crafted worked closely with the city of Piney Point Village to make sure the home is up to building code.

Crafted operated as both designer and architect throughout this project. By working with the homeowner, Crafted achieved a new look in every part of the home. The garage was transformed to give vehicle access to the backyard. From electrical and plumbing to the outdoor pool and fencing, this home is built to last for decades.
