Additions are one of the most difficult construction tasks to successfully complete, but we here at CRAFTED love the challenge of blending the new with the old! We have successfully completed dozens of additions ranging from a simple first-floor bathroom or outdoor living space to 3000+ square foot second stories.

What sets us apart is our PROCESS. Successful construction projects and happy customers happen when a builder is organized and has a repeatable process!

CRAFTED home addition projections are accomplished in three phases:

I.  COLLABORATION PHASE

The Design Agreement (DA) or Pre-Construction Services (PCSA) period is the most important phase of creating your dream. CRAFTED guides you through the design process from the beginning. Our in-house design team will handle everything from floorplans to permit plans to 3-D renderings and visualizations. If you already have an architect or wish to work with an outside architectural firm, we will facilitate communication between the architect, interior designer, vendors, and tradespeople to make sure your project stays on target and within your budget. 

The budget for your project is driven by the decisions you will make during this phase. During this time you will also make selections on finishes such as flooring, tile, countertops, paint, cabinets.

This phase is wrapped up once you and our team have settled on a clearly defined scope of work, a target construction timeline, and a fixed price for your project. At this point, the construction contract is signed, and work can begin!
 

II.  CONSTRUCTION PHASE

Plans are printed, permits are obtained, and interior design is complete. Our design team will now hand your vision off to our experienced project management team. Your dedicated Project Manager will take the plans and specifications developed during the DA or PCSA phase and bring your dream to life with the help our in-house staff and our trusted team of trades.

You will receive a login to our comprehensive project management software, which will serve as the communication hub for your project. Photos, job logs, schedule updates and more are posted daily for your review. You are also kept in the loop via regularly scheduled site meetings and walk-throughs with your Project Manager and Designer as the project progresses.
 

III.  CONTINUING RELATIONSHIP 

Once your project is complete, we continue our relationship with you and your home through the warranty period and beyond. You can rest assured knowing that issues that may arise after you settle in to your new space will be promptly addressed by our warranty team. We stand behind the work we do and know we will be delighted with your new home long after move-in.
